Utakata, Shion ::Asmodeus::
PERSONALITY Shion, or Azzy as he liked to call himself in-game; acts nearly the same both in and out of the virtual world. He's always been a flirty guy who still acts like a rambunctious kid when he's supposed to be serious. He's definitely not one you would expect responsibility or any type of dependable worth from. If anything he'll be that one kid who jumped to the front lines only to retreat toward the back to take a nap. Yes, he has done that before. No, his party was not happy. Still he's very charismatic guy who has the sharpest silver tongue, probably the only reason why he isn't dead. It would be funny to see his strange little antics so long as you're not sticking your head into the lion's mouth. But being Asmodeus, he always acts without regrets and sometimes without morals to hold him back. After all - 'it's just a game'. He's guild hopped, party abandoned, pked; you name it. Of course he wasn't particularly fondly looked on, especially by his fellow SAO survivors. While making others mad at him is a fun hobby of his, he isn't too keen on dying himself so more often than not he'll try and work back into peoples' good graces. That usually means tanking or jumping to the front line. Lets get something straight. He hates tanking with a passion. Period. But he'll still do it if a pretty person asks him to. Or if he's threatened but pretty people get his cooperation better. As you might have guessed, Azzy is the guy who makes light of everything. Including obligations. He's always relaxing even on the battlefield but when he does attack, though he isn't growling or spitting; the guy is quite remarkably skilled in what he chooses to do. He prides himself on being a 'specialist' of sorts, if only to make himself sound cool. But the boy does get irritated at times too, mostly by thieves and ugly people. Patience? Yeah he has that. Patience for ugly people? Nope. Plain and simple. Azzy loves his pretty people. He'd take hits for pretty people and that's saying a lot. HISTORY Azzy was an SAO survivor. That's the first thing one might notice when they see him in action. In the beginning he was one of the bloodthirsty souls that rampaged the beginner grounds to level faster than anyone else, mostly since he hadn't been a beta player. He felt at that time the seriousness of the situation and strive to survive against the odds. He had been more of party player than a solo or guild runner. That changed after the first year. He had helped the front line, even joined a guild; but in the end he began to realize just how tedious it was all getting. It wasn't fun, it was a burden, and it was not a burden he wanted anymore. So he ditched his guild and began to 'freelance' around. He'd party with questionable people, pk the pkers that attacked him, even go as far as hop through guilds the moment they didn't suit his taste anymore. One could definitely say he 'fell from grace'. All that hard work was just gone in a puff of smoke. There wasn't even a care for human life anymore. That was his coping mechanism. The scythe-wielding imp of the front lines had just turned into a little goblin who wasn't even worth noticing anymore. Yet despite his fall, Asmodeus had joined in on the last raid of the game - had been there when they faced off against Heathcliff. Of course he couldn't do anything after the boss had been defeated, he wasn't able to do any more than grunt against the system. But he wasn't needed in the end anyway. The final boss was defeated and the game crumbled away to leave several players to awaken from their slumbers. Two years they slept, two years that passed the would-be college boy by. It didn't take long for him to notice how far from society he'd gotten. His mother constantly fussed over him, his friends had all but forgotten him, even his college wouldn't accept him back in without taking another test. It was horrible. All the time he wanted to return back to normal life and then he just wanted to go back to Aincrad. Not even a month after waking he'd gone and played other games such as ALO. His family worried but he blew them off, just like he did to real life friends. In-game friends that he knew from SAO that still kept in contact didn't make it past his 'happy exterior'. Quite the little trickster he. But then most of his 'friends' from SAO were either unstable people, game-haters, and/or mainly just acquaintances who happened to know enough about him to be considered 'well acquainted with'. Either way he was still a gamer and kept making new acquaintances that would usually end up hating him. So when SAO was announced for a reboot, while it bewildered himself more than anything; the guy had found himself to be one of the first to get back into the trap of a game. The past had weak chains against him, not even the fear of another trapped existence scared him. He just... wanted to go there again. Feel the excitement it was to live in a fantasy where your blade was your only hope for survival. It didn't help that there was word of the fallen having returned to life. See? Wasn't it all just a game. He welcomed the second lock-up with open arms, practically shaking with joy at the sight of the game-master the second time around. Anything to add?: Admin Edit |
